Almond Beach Resort

When guests stay at Almond Beach Resort, they have access to two resort properties for the price of one. The resort shares a number of facilities with sister resort Jaguar Reef Lodge, so guests can go back and forth between the restaurants, the pools, and spa and more.

Beachfront Casita

Beachfront Casitas have traditional thatch roofs and wooden decks. They are 680 square feet, with wooden floors, and Belizean hand-carved furniture paired with Central American art work. The bed is king or queen-sized, plus there is a sleeper sofa. Additional amenities include an indoor/outdoor shower and a refrigerator.

Honeymoon Casita

The private Honeymoon Casita is raised 12 feet off the ground, and is just 75 feet from the beach. The furniture, including a king-sized bed, is hand-carved Belizean furniture, and the art work is Central American. Including the private veranda, the Honeymoon Casita is 800 square feet, and features a Jacuzzi tub.

Penthouse

The Penthouse is located on the top floor of the Vista Suite, and features a 360 degree view from the ocean to the Maya Mountains. It is 1000 square feet, and has two verandas.

Hummingbird Suite

The Hummingbird Suite is located on the third floor and has panoramic views. Six to eight guests can comfortably sleep in the suite, which has a king-sized bed in each room, and bunk beds are available upon request. The Suite is 1500 square feet including the verandas, and has a kitchen as well as a jacuzzi tub.

Beachfront Verandas

The private Beachfront Verandas have a king-sized bed, and two murphy beds or two trundle beds. The room is ideal for two, but can accommodate four.

Gardenview Room

The Garden View is located 75 feet from the beach, and has views of the beach, sea, and pool. This room is 475 square feet and the most affordable room on property.

Poolview Room

Including the porch, the Poolview Room is 525 square feet. There is one king or two twin beds and a sleeper sofa.

Courtyard Room

With a king and trundle beds, the 525 square foot Courtyard Room is suitable for two to four guests.

Beachfront Bedroom

The Beachfront Bedroom, which measures in a 525 square feet, has a king-sized bed, and comfortable sleeps two.

Activities and Amenities

A number of tours are available to guests, including the Mayan ruins, local villages, and the jungle.

The poolside Tiki Bar has cold beverages and snacks for those lounging poolside.
