Accommodations

The Belize Lodge-Ballum Na is a very small property containing just one room. Guests who want to escape noisy crowds will fall in love with the intimate atmosphere at this compact hotel. In terms of overall quality, we've awarded this hotel a 4.0 star rating.

Situated deep within the Boden Creek Preserve, the Ballum Na provides lodging for foreign travelers, and is also home to two beautiful jaguar brothers. One master suite and two junior suites comprise the accommodation options at the Ballum Na. The Master Suite features a spacious bedroom, beautiful hardwoods, and a view of the the main jaguar habitat.

The two Junior Suites look out over the Boden Creek, and each feature private sitting areas. Each room has large comfortable king beds, plush linens and ceiling fans. This seemingly unreal lodge is only accessible via the private airstrip located on the property.

At the Jungle Camp, guests will be able to explore the dense tropical vegetation that surrounds them with the helpful assistance of their Mayan guide. This location is only accessible by river, and is known as the most remote of the tree lodges. The accommodations at the Jungle Camp are individual bungalows that sit perched above the jungle floor. Each unit includes a fully-screened facility with plush beds, fine linen, deep-pillowed chairs, giant ceiling fans, and a tiled hot-water shower and bath.

Sprawling private beaches and a truly environmentally-friendly facility await guests at the Moho Cay Lodge. This location operates solely by power provided by solar panels and wind energy. Situated on a small island in the Port Honduras Marine Reserve, the Moho Cay Lodge offers tent-style accommodations along the shoreline. These 'tents' feature hardwood floors, tiled bathrooms and wicker furnishings. Enjoy a locally-brewed beer while basking in the privacy of the tranquil island. This location is only accessible by the lodge's ex-US Navy Marine Launches.
