First opened in 1960 under the name Barothy's Caribbean Lodge, Ltd., Belize River Lodge has over half a century of experience providing lodging for anglers looking for the perfect vacation spot for them in Belize. The lodge specializes in saltwater fishing.

The two-story guest house has four rooms, each with two single beds and private showers. The screened-in veranda overlooks the Belize Old River.
