Blancaneaux Lodge

A little bit of Hollywood resides in Belize at Blancaneaux Lodge. In the early 1980s, famed director Francis Ford Coppola purchased the abandoned hotel to use as a family getaway. After over a decade of family use, Coppola opened the lodge to the public, and since 1993 it has become a popular retreat.

Honeymoon Cabañas

Situated over a waterfall, Honeymoon Cabañas are the epitome of romantic. There are two, and each has a private deck with views of the falls.

Riverfront Cabañas are decorated in native artwork and textiles, and feature a queen-sized bed. Views are of the Privassion River.

Garden View Cabañas

Like their Riverfront Counterparts, Garden View Cabañas are decorated with native artwork and antiques. These Cabañas have screened porches, and overlook the gardens.

Deluxe Cabañas

Deluxe Cabañas are the most popular offering at Blanceneaux. These Cabañas are located on the far east end of the property, overlooking Privassion Creek, and within reach of the waterfalls.

Family Cabaña

If you are traveling with a group, the Family Cabañas will be your best choice. There is a queen bed, as well as a pair of twin beds, as well as a large dining table, a screened porch, and a hammock.

Two-Bedroom Villa

All the comforts of home are afforded to you in the Two-Bedroom Villa. This 1600 square foot villa has an open-air living room, a kitchen, and two bedrooms with en-suite bathrooms.

Francis Ford Coppola's Villa

The Francis Ford Coppola Villa features an open-plan living space, a kitchen with a Delonghi espresso machine, refrigerator, and wet bar, and an antique dining table. Enchanted Cottage

The Enchanted Cottage is located atop a forested bluff that overlooks the waterfalls of Privassion Creek. The cottage has a king-sized bed in the bedroom, a writing desk, and a fireplace. Luxury is key here, which is evident in the heated floors, Japanese tub and steam room. The kitchen features a wine cooler and Delonghi espresso machine, and amenities are topped off by a plunge pool and hardwood deck with a hammock.
