Accommodations

The Portofino Resort is an extremely small property containing just 11 units. Guests who prefer personalized service over an abundance of space will fall in love with the calm atmosphere at this small hotel. We have given this hotel a 3.5 star rating.

Cabanas

There are eight beach cabanas located on Portofino Resort property, each with views of the Caribbean Sea. The cabanas measure in a 12 by 24 feet, and include a queen-sized bed outfitted with cotton sheets and mosquito nets. The rooms are decorated with Guatemalan rugs, and other pieces from Belize and Mexico. Each cabana also has a deck with chairs and a hammock.

Suites

The suites measure in a 24 by 24 feet, and are situated on Sapodilla legs 10 feet in the air. Staircases lead to each front entry. Inside each suite is a king-sized bed, picture windows, and a carved deck with chairs and a hammock.

There is one honeymoon suite. It is over 800 square feet, and includes an Emperor bed, jacuzzi, and many other special features.
