Belize provides electricity on the same cycle as the United States, 110V, with standard two and three prong sockets.

Travelers from Europe and some parts of the Caribbean should call ahead to ask if hotels provide adapters, or they can bring their own. Some eco-lodges and similar locations run on natural energy, and may shut down early in the evening. Firelight provides the later lighting.
